Manage Customer Messages
This feature allows you to read messages collected from the form on the Contact Us page of your website. Messages are stored in two groups — Inbox and Archived. All messages will appear in the Inbox unless archived.
The Inbox tab will display the number of unread messages. However, all messages will be stored in the Inbox unless archived or deleted.
- Unread messages will have a blue background.
- Messages that have been read, but not archived or deleted will have a gray background.
To Read A Message
Go to the Inbox and click the message you want to read. The message and the sender’s details will open in a new window. Once you have read a message, it will remain in your Inbox unless you choose Archive or Delete it. Click Back to Inbox to view more messages in your Inbox. You may click Close at any time to close the Manage Customer Messages window.
Archiving A Message
To archive a message, open the message from the Inbox and click Archive. This will move the message to the Archive tab. Inside the Archive tab, you can read messages or move them back to the Inbox.
Deleting A Message
To delete a message, open the message from the Inbox and click Delete. Make sure you want to permanently remove your message before clicking. Once you delete a message, it cannot be recovered.
